Hartlepool Amateur Radio Club took part in the 2026 international Lighthouses and Lightship Weekend on the 15th/16th August representing the Hartlepool Headland Heugh Lighthouse UK-O188.
The station was set up at the BBOB Old Friary Rugby ground on Hartlepool Headland just a few yards from the Heugh Lighthouse.
We ran two HF stations and one VHF station on the Saturday and one HF and one VHF station on the Sunday.

This was the first time that HARC had operated from this new site and the members are very pleased with the results.
